Recipe of the week: Butternut squash and feta scones

Cooking with the seasons is one way you can keep your food bills down. Generally speaking, British fruit and veg is cheaper if you buy it when it is in season and right now, there’s an abundance of squash and pumpkin varieties available at very reasonable prices.

This scone recipe uses butternut squash, but you could try making it with whichever squash you like the look of.
