Not only are these crunchy spiced chickpeas and lentils a brilliant, plant-based source of protein, which can be used to add extra nutrition and fun to meals (things to sprinkle over meals are often loved by children), they also great as part of a snack (for you as well as your child!).
Combine them with a carb and some fruit or veg sticks and perhaps even a yoghurt dip and your child has a sustaining snack that is going to reduce the requests for more snacks throughout the day and give them more chance of eating their lunch and dinner.
