Recipe of the week: Kimcheese scones with wild garlic butter

Children love to go shopping and buying ingredients for themselves. But even better is being able to go out and pick their own! 

We’re into wild garlic season so if you can, take the children foraging for this wonderful leaf then return home to make a garlic butter to eat with these super savoury kimcheese scones.  

Now kimchee might not be the first ingredient you think of offering your child but chopped up finely and incorporated with the cheese into the scones, you would hardly know it’s there. You’re just left with great umami flavour which works brilliantly with the butter.
