Beans, lentils and chickpeas are brilliant sources of protein and a great way to make your money go further. But I hear time and time again from my clients and Facebook group members that their children simply won’t eat pulses.
Whilst both of my children will eat beans and lentils in a variety of dishes, neither will touch chickpeas. Except, that is, when they’re crunchy spiced chickpeas!
They love the texture and flavour of these, they’re fun to eat and to sprinkle over their meal. They’re also great as a part of a snack…and not just for children, adults too.
