After a stage during weaning when Harvey would eat anything and everything, came the dreaded fussy period. Mild curries he’d once eaten were now rejected.
So, it became my mission to reintroduce the flavours that my husband and I enjoy and to build him up to eating curry again.
Using the spices in marinades for chicken, lamb, vegetables and paneer was how I did it. No ‘suspicious’ saucy foods.
This paneer and mushroom tikka is one of those dishes that helped him on his way and now he will happily try any curry I present him.
