Sometimes you need something a little different to renew your enthusiasm for a food. With me, that was pasta, I was sick of the same old ways of serving it. I was even bored of cooking it.
This spaghetti and three-cheese pie from Olive magazine was a dish with a twist to bring back the joy. It’s just pasta and cheese in another form but it was tasty fun. It was met with dropped jaws from the children when I brought it to the table and we all tucked in with delight.
It was great as it was, served with a salad. But, doing this again, I’d be tempted to play around and add bits and pieces to it – some chicken or bacon perhaps, maybe some broccoli, definitely some blue cheese!
