Smoked mackerel pate

This is one dish which is guaranteed to appear on my menu at some point this Christmas.

Whether you’re after a light meal, lunch or starter, my smoked mackerel pate with celeriac remoulade and a quick pickled cucumber is ideal. 

I like to make mine with peppered smoked mackerel, but plain smoked mackerel, cooked or smoked salmon or trout would also work well.
