My week in meals – w/c 10/03/19

My focus this week was on recipe development and testing, the results of which will be revealed soon.

Sunday was a tricky dinner time. It was daddy’s turn to have his meal request, a dish which only he enjoys. A gave it a good go but mostly ate carrots and H did well to eat a bit without a fuss, a huge improvement for him.

Monday Merguez and butter bean stew with garlic rubbed toast

Tuesday Veggie night Miso aubergine with soba noodles, squash, edamame, mushrooms and cavalo nero
Wednesday Fish night Crispy paprika squid with crushed roasted baby potatoes, chorizo, garlic and peppers, guacamole
Thursday Veggie night Cavalo nero and mushroom meat-free balls in tomato sauce with spaghetti
Friday Batch cook Keema with ginger carrots, whole baked spiced cauliflower, courgette and squash dhal, chapattis
Saturday Family mealtime Home made potato gnocchi with roast tomato sauce, wild garlic and crispy potato skins
