One of the first things I encourage my clients to do is to celebrate the successes, no matter how small they may seem.
Progress is progress and it is to be encouraged. Praise this progress and more will follow.
Progress isn’t always about your child eating a food but being open to exploring it. It might be as simple as them asking what it is or what it tastes like, allowing it to be near them on the table, touching it, playing with it, licking it and eventually eating a tiny amount of it.
Celebrate with your child, celebrate yourself and let me celebrate with you.
