Top tips for tackling a new recipe

Tackling a new recipe can be stressful and overwhelming. Take a step back and set yourself up for success with my top tips. 

  • Read the recipe several times to familiarise yourself with all of the steps
  • Check you’ve got all the ingredients…or know which substitutes to use
  • Allow extra time than the recipe states – it always takes much longer the first time
  • Gather and prepare your ingredients and equipment
  • Relax, trust yourself and enjoy the process!
