- Read the recipe several times to familiarise yourself with all of the steps
- Check you’ve got all the ingredients…or know which substitutes to use
- Allow extra time than the recipe states – it always takes much longer the first time
- Gather and prepare your ingredients and equipment
- Relax, trust yourself and enjoy the process!
