It’s important that our children listen to their bodies and follow their hunger and fullness cues but that doesn’t mean that you have to provide a snack every time they ask for one.
Give them a snack whenever they ask and you’ll likely find they don’t eat lunch or dinner.
Having a meal and snack routine will make it easier not only for you to say no sometimes but will also mean that your children understand the boundaries you’ve put in place around when food is made available.
