When we were first hit by Harvey’s restricted eating, I used to plan our family meals around what I knew he’d eat but it soon became tedious and food was no longer enjoyable for us.
I’m pleased I quickly got my head around transforming mealtimes and that those days are far behind us.
But I see this with my clients too, they’re bored of eating the same meals on repeat because they just want their children to eat something. Food isn’t bringing them joy and they’re suffering from the restrictive diets they’ve enforced on themselves.
Have you got caught in this cycle of only preparing meals you know your child will eat?
