Wonky veg and ugly fruit still taste delicious

According to some reports, 25% of apples, 20% of onions and 13% of potatoes grown in the UK are wasted simply because they are ‘ugly’ or ‘wonky’.
Does it taste any less delicious? No!
Does it have reduced nutritional benefits? No!
Thankfully, some supermarkets are now offering a range of wonky vegetables and food rescue schemes such as Oddbox are also working hard to change the image of this rejected produce and to prevent it from going to waste.
Fruit and veg comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes, let’s love it all!
