Nuts and seeds are mealtime super stars. They may be small but they are mighty!
Here’s why I love them:
- They add interest, flavour and crunch to a dish
- Sprinkles (as they’re known in our house) add fun to meals for children
- They go with pretty much any meal or snack and can even be added to drinks
- Adding nuts and seeds to our meals is an easy way to add nutrients
- Many nuts and seeds have natural anti-inflammatory properties
- They’re tasty enough on their own but roasting/toasting and adding flavour to them with spices can make them even more moreish (take care not to eat too many!).
