Whilst most people plan a week at a time, I recommend meal planning for two weeks. Why? Because it feels like less of a chore since you’re not having to do it as often and, if you’re already in the mindset with everything you need to hand, what’s an extra week?
The other benefit to planning two weeks at a time is that you can be thinking about ingredients that you’ll have which need using up and can more effectively plan to use them.
