It’s unlikely your child will eat a new food straight away (unless it’s maybe chocolate, cakes or biscuits!).
Children need to go on a journey of exploration as they learn that new foods are safe and enjoyable, and they become comfortable enough to try them.
It’s our job to be their tour guide on this journey, to support them to overcome their fear of new foods and allow them to develop a love of food in their own time.
So, to help you be the tour guide they need, I share my 5 dos and 5 don’ts when it comes to feeding your child in this blog post I wrote for nutrition coach Claire Greenhouse.
