Why I meal plan

I’ve set some time aside this week to do my meal planning for the next couple of weeks. It really is worth the effort to regularly schedule some time to get it done.  

Here are just a few of the reasons why I find it helpful:

  • It keeps the stress at bay
  • I have the answer to ‘what’s for dinner?’
  • We eat better
  • My children are exposed to and we eat a wider variety of foods
  • Fewer trips to the shops
  • Less food waste
  • Saves money
  • I can be more efficient with my time and energy
