We had a great, fun, family afternoon making pasta dough and hand rolling a variety of random shapes for our tea on Sunday evening. Pasta making is really simple and a lovely tactile experience for children to get involved with. The kids then tried to spot their own shapes and talked about what they’d made as we ate. The snail was apparently very chewy but not in the same way as eating a real snail!
