Do you know what’s in your freezer? Or maybe you’re like my client who got sausages out to defrost only to find when she came to cook them that they were bananas?!
My top tips for avoiding any nasty surprises are to:
- Clearly label any bags and boxes in the freezer (a permanent marker on brown tape or masking tape works best on boxes) so you know what you’re pulling out.
- Make a list of what’s in the freezer – cross off anything you take out, highlight anything you’ve got on your meal plan to use up so you know not to use it for anything else and add to the list whenever you put something in the freezer.
