I always have pastry in the freezer but it didn’t turn up in my last online shop. I fancied making some tarts this week so I made pastry for the first time since I was a child. I’ve always had in my head that it takes a long time and is a faff but it didn’t take long at all and the end result was far better than the supermarket pastry I buy. I was quite proud of myself! Next time I’ll make double and freeze half.
