PTFA CookalongWhether you’re an absolute beginner, just need to build your confidence in the kitchen, want to cook with your children but aren’t sure where to start, enjoy cooking and are looking for some tips to level up your skills and knowledge, or would like to have a fun night with friends, my cookery skills sessions are ideal.

A cookery session with me starts with a chat about the kinds of dishes you’d like to make, who’s cooking and their skill levels, your aims for the session and any challenges you face in the kitchen.

I then come up with some ideas and we decide what we’ll be cooking together. After some planning time, you’re sent all you need to know to get ready for the session and then the fun commences!

Cooking with your child sessions

Would you like to cook with your child but aren’t sure where to start? Or perhaps you’ve done some simple cooking together but don’t know how to take it to the next level (and work with sharp knives)? Then let’s cook together!

In a cooking with your child session, you can focus on having fun whilst I take you through, step-by-step, the dishes we choose to make.

Along the way, we’ll cover how to stay safe, pick up new skills, learn about ingredients as well as explore foods and language to help develop a love of food and give you the confidence to do it again and again yourself.

Cost: starts at £100 (excluding ingredients)

Please get in touch to talk about what you’d like to cook and we’ll take it from there.

The food I made with Sarah was really good – after she left, I ate all of one salad and then, meaning only to try another one, took a bite and couldn’t resist eating all of it! I feel confident now in knowing how much of various ingredients to add to create a taste I enjoy. I’ve tried cooking from books before but never had any success with the recipes, spending hours cooking and not enjoying the results at the end of it.

Sarah gave me the confidence to shop and cook. I never would have thought I would cook for myself let alone spend the occasional weekend batch cooking and stocking up my freezer with homemade ready meals!
