As a meal planning and family mealtimes expert, I work with my clients to reduce their food waste, save money on their food bills and be more efficient in the kitchen as well as develop healthier, happier and stress-free mealtime routines.
Now, more than ever, the skills I teach people about eating on a budget, with limited resources, making the most of the ingredients they have, making food go further as well as saving time and energy are important as we’re faced with periods of self-isolation and scarce supplies on the supermarket shelves.
I’ve put together some tips for preparing for self-isolation and dealing with the scarce supplies in the supermarkets. If you like what you see but are still finding this difficult on your own, I’m offering two meal planning services. One is an off-the-shelf service and one a bespoke service.

One-week store cupboard meal plan

The one-week store cupboard meal plan provides you with seven days of breakfasts, lunches and dinners as well as snack and pudding ideas using store cupboard ingredients. The meal plan also takes into consideration all the things I teach such as being mindful of budget, efficient with time and energy, using up ingredients and leftovers. It contains links to recipes and is full of tips to help you prepare your meals.

Most meals are vegetarian. The plan includes to fish based meals with information on how to revise this for vegetarians.
