I’m your kitchen buddy

Sarah Alder, Kitchen Titbits
It’s time to say hello and welcome to all my new followers. Thank you for being here with me!

Hi, I’m Sarah and I’m your kitchen buddy!

You might, at some time in your life, invest in a personal trainer, a cleaner, an accountant or financial advisor, maybe even a life or a business coach, to support you in various aspects of your life. Think of me as your kitchen mentor – your phone a friend for anything food and kitchen related!

I’m generous with my tips and am here to give you the tools and the confidence you need to make them work. I’ll help you save money, reduce food waste, eat a wider range of foods and therefore eat more healthily and work with you to encourage your fussy eater to change their restrictive eating habits, but most importantly take the stress away from mealtimes – I can show you how to do this in ways which are manageable and fit with your lifestyle and that you can build on over time.

I was very fortunate to be taught to cook from a very early age by my mum and grandma. I also picked up meal planning habits, saw how my grandma could generously feed a crowd with very little money, how to be thrifty and really make best use of the ingredients we had available.

I’ve seen how fewer and fewer people have had this opportunity and with home economics no longer taught at school in the same way as it was, being able to cook and look after our health with good food have become something of a dying art.

I’ve also been through the mill with my fussy eater, tearing my hair out and feeling totally miserable every mealtime. I’ve been there; I know just how relentless, stressful and emotionally draining it is, but I can tell you that there’s light at the end of the tunnel!

Kitchen Titbits is my way of being able to share my knowledge, experience and passion for all things food with you. I’d like to show you that mealtimes can be enjoyable and needn’t be the times of the day that you dread.

Over to you! Come and say hello, message me and tell me a bit about you and why you’re here. I’d love to hear from you about your challenges.
