Recipe of the week: Beef in PX stew

Time to get the slow cooker out, if you haven’t already.

The sticky, sweet Pedro Ximenez sherry in this stew cooks down with the beef to produce an intense, rich, dark and irresistible sauce.

It’s a perfect, simple winter warmer slow cook dish to serve with creamy mash and any leftovers cook down even further into a ragu to serve with pasta.
